Microsoft melakukan perombakan sistem pencarian pada mesin pencari Bing, agar dapat menjaring konten dari situs jejaring sosial macam Facebook, Twitter, MySpace dan lainnya. Langkah Bing menjadi pukulan keras bagi Google yang sejak awal 2012 memutuskan berhenti mencari konten jejaring sosial. Dalam demo yang dilakukan Microsoft, Kamis (10/5/2012), aktivitas pencarian di Bing akan dibagi dalam 3 kolom, yakni kolom Core Web Results, Snapshot dan Sidebar. Ketiga kolom ini renca...

Google telah mengajukan akhiran domain mereka sendiri. Bisa jadi, nantinya Google.com akan diubah menjadi akhiran ".google." Memang, belum pasti domain apa yang akan digunakan oleh Google. Namun, Google telah mendaftarkan beberapa domain alternatif ke Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN). Saat meresmikan kehadirannya di Indonesia, Google juga mengumumkan penunjukan Rudy Ramawy sebagai Country Head Indonesia pada Jumat (30/3/2012) di Jakarta.
